A tragic incident has taken place in near to Amritsar village Adliwal. According to reports, three people were killed and 10 got injured in the bomb attack. The incident took place when there was a religious ceremony held at Nirankari sect that was being held in Nirankari Bhavan. According to the eyewitness, two men came on a motorcycle and they threw the bomb toward the gathering. The deputy commissioner Kamaldeep Singh Sangha has confirmed the death of three people.
Punjab chief minister Capt. Amrinder Singh has offered his condolence and condemned the terror attack. Moreover, he has also announced five lakh rupees compensation to the deceased and free treatment to the injured.
The Amritsar is in news for the second time in a month. A month ago Amritsar has witnessed the unfortunate event on the occasion of Dussehra where 62 peoples were killed by a fast-moving train.
