Famous American actress and singer Scarlett Johansson said that there is no whitewashing in her upcoming movie “Ghost in the Shell” because in this movie her character is “identity less.”
The youthful performer experienced harsh criticism for being thrown in the part, which depended on an Asian character, and told Michael Strahan on “Great Morning America” this week that she could never play a character of an alternate race.
“I think this character is carrying on an extremely interesting knowledge in that she has a human cerebrum in a totally machinate body. She’s basically character less,” Johansson said.
“I could never endeavor to play a man of an alternate race, clearly. Ideally, any question that surfaces of my throwing will be replied by groups of onlookers when they see the film,” she proceeded.
Johansson, 32, plays a half-cyborg character in the film who is attempting to battle the world’s most effective psychological oppressors.
The “Lucy” star said she was “a little damaged” toward the finish of the film.
“It was so much work and it was somewhat of a dim headspace to live in,” she clarified. “In any case, similar to myself, I really resembled, OK, I did that. I’m hanging in. I’m strong. I’m back to myself. I was glad to wind up toward the finish of ‘Apparition in the Shell.'”
Taking after the consummation of the film, the star petitioned for divorce from her better half of three years, Romain Dauriac.
