A piece of new shocking news and footage have come from Devprayag in Uttarakhand. According to sources several shops and houses have been damaged due to a major cloudburst at Uttarakhand’s Devprayag. This incident has happened around 120 KM from Dehradun. during writing this No casualties have been reported yet according to a senior official of Uttarakhand.
“No casualties have been reported yet. SDRF teams are on their way to the spot,” Uttarakhand police chief Ashok Kumar was quoted as saying by the news agency.
This cloudburst hit at around 5 PM on Tuesday, damaging nearly a dozen of shops and other properties including houses. Since most of these business establishments were closed due to Covid restrictions, no injury has been reported yet.
The water level in the area is rising rapidly, a police official told.
