After the grand success of Bahubali 2: the conclusion, it seems that Indian filmmakers who were earlier reluctant to make big budget movies are ready to burn a hole in their pockets.
The recent reports are suggesting in this direction. A few days back, it was reported the Mahabharat would be made in 1000 crore budget starring Mohanlal in a prominent role. And now if reports are to be believed then Ramayana will be made on a whopping budget of 500 Crore.
The movie will be made in 3D format and will release next year.
However, the star cast is not finalized yet, but, if reports are to be believed many A-list stars from Bollywood, South Industry are being considered by the producers and director.
The movie will be a trilingual release. It will release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Three producers named Allu Aravind, Madhu Mantena and Namit Malhotra are coming together to adapt Ramayana for the big screen.
Moreover, similar to Bahubali franchise, the Ramayana movie will release in three parts.
