Is it Ok to take Admission at newer NITs?
In case you score a low rank in JEE Main, and somehow make it to the new NITs, you may think whether it is the right decision or not. Well, in that case, we will suggest you take Admission to new NITs. The rich legacy of NIT will always be there whether the college is new or not among the top 10 NITs. Students may get a chance to pursue newer and innovative courses and can enjoy good placements too.
Admission in the top Engineering Colleges with low rank in JEE Main
The score in JEE Main will be directly linked to the applicant’s level. The seat allocation will be conducted through JoSAA according to the ranking system; please note that the ranking will get based on your score. If you score low in the exam, then you will also secure a low rank in JEE Main. But there is a world outside the top IITs or NITs. You can find a variety of Government and Private colleges as well.

Is a good score in 10+2 an advantage in case of low rank in JEE Main?
Yes, it is an advantage. If you score 80 or more in your 10+2, then even with a low rank in JEE Main, you can make it to decent colleges. With excellent board results, students can earn scholarships too.
