Jammu Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti said that mob lynching of a police officer Mohammad Ayub Pandit outside the Jama Masjid in downtown Srinagar as “shameful.”
She also warned those who are cowardly attacking the police personnel that if police lose its patience, then they will face the severe consequences. She also said that Jammu Kashmir police is one of the best police force in India and they are showing maximum restraint the valley. However, she warned separatist to don’t test their patience.
Mufti laid a wreath on the body of Pandit at the district police lines here. She then said: “The murder of this officer is actually a murder of trust.
