The Hrithik Roshan Mohenjo Daro box office collections after four days surpassed 40.90 crore. The Hrithik Roshan period drama Mohenjo Daro directed by Ashutosh Gowariker has managed to earn a satisfactory number at box office after a slow start on Friday. The much awaited movie of this year received mixed reviews from critics all over the world.
The Mohenjo Daro clashed with superstar Akshay Kumar’s latest movie Rustom. According to box office reports akshay kumar’s rustom has convincingly managed to surpass the box office collections of mohenjo daro.

It was expected after the dull start of Mohenjo Daro that it would not pick up on weekends. Although, the critics does not praise the movie, however, still audience went to watch this movie.
The reason behind rise in collection is due to the fact that despite the movie met with the mixed reviews, but, still people praised actor and director for their hard work and taking bold step to direct such a subject. Moreover, the extended weekend due to independence day also helped movie to mint some decent numbers from box office.

Here, it is appropriate to bring in notice that both movies managed to received mixed reviews from audiences as well as critics. However, still audience made their way to theaters to extend their support toward their heroes. From the weekend collection, it is evidential that akshay kumar’s rustom will manage to mint good money at box office and emerge as successful venture for the actor whereas, the same will not be true in case of hrithik roshan’s mohenjo daro. Now, everything depends on that how well this movie perform on weekdays. However, as per experts that seeing the decline in the collection on independence day, it is expected that collection will dwindle further.
Considering the huge budget of this movie which is around 120 crore this movie will definitely prove a debacle at the box office.
